Nature Discover Box
IVN Nature education
Experience nature in and out of the hospital.
With the nature discover box, nature is brought close to the children in the hospital. Children can experience nature in or next to their bed by doing assignments, play the game or read fun facts from one the books. This distracts them from hospitalization and allows for a faster recovery. For parents, nurses and pedagogical staff, the nature discover box is an extra tool to use in caring for the children. We hope that patients and supervisors or carers will visit nature in their own living environment more often after hospitalization.
Peep box effect in the Nature Discover Box
In one side of the box is a large peep box with 5 different habitats and dozens of animals. We wanted to find a way to show a detailed nature reserve with the possibility of hiding different animals. This allows the children to investigate the animals in the closet. We have chosen to build the peep box from 6 transparent plexiglass plates with a part of the illustration on each plate. These are all placed one behind the other so that a nice depth can be seen.

The first nature discover boxes are now in the hospital. Naturally, we would also be happy to develop 1 for your organization -or 100, of course that is possible too. We hope that hospitals wille become a little bit more fun through these nature discover boxes. And as soon as you are able to go home again, you'll have plenty of challenges that you can do in real nature.
